Liam Neeson Taken the piss ?

What do you all think about his story of long ago?, apparently someone close to him was raped he asked her what colour they were and when he was told black in a great rage he went out looking for any black bastard to kill for one week.
There is no doubt he had racist tendencies back then could anyone imagine if the woman had said white he would go out to kill a white guy? it sounds ridiculous because it is and he would not have, so this has to be called out for what it is racism.
Saying that I think he just needs to man up and admit to it and possibly do something charitable for the black community then all will be good everyone makes mistakes in life although with respect I bet in his mind the mistake was to tell the story at all.

Agreed. What he said was racist, and he acknowledged that. He was telling a story about how extreme situations can lead you to dark places. Entirely in context for the conversation he was having and I say credit to him for being open about it. If everyone has to pretend they've always been perfect then we will never be able to discuss these things.
If he said he'd felt like that last week then all this outrage may be justified, although he'd still deserve the benefit of the doubt for the situation he found himself in. But if we are going to start threatening to boycott people for being honest then we'll never get anywhere. He's moved on. It's time some other people did too.

What he said was racist, of that there is no doubt but that doesn't make him 'a' racist.
Thing is how far do we push this. Is he sexist for saying that he wanted to go out and take vengeance on a man or ageist as this man was unlikely to be an OAP or species'ist as he didn't consider kicking a cat to death that gave him the eye. All very confusing where it ends as surely there are frontiers we are not yet offended by that are just around the corner.

That's it, be yourself and say what you see. Most of it's just observation anyway. Have to use your loaf and bite your tongue at times, but that's always been the case.
As for the arsehole crawlers, they're just pathetic creatures.
As for religion, I'm an atheist thank god!

Opinions aren't allowed to be viewed nowadays norm, you know that!!
Obviously most of mine are best left in my head, but I say them anyway, as pointless just being a sheep and agreeing with what others say.
Like when the boss makes a joke and everyone laughs even if it's not funny. I'm the chap sitting there stoney faced, as I don't understand arse kissing either, especially when the boss in question is basically an unfunny toff cunt.

Apart from Taken, The Grey and Run All Night are decent imo. The more recent The Commuter is okay but a bit ott.
Tragically, he lost his wife in a skiing accident. Don't know if he's found her yet.

There are a lot of us and a fair proportion are horrible.
Doesn't excuse a complete absence of empathy. Something wicked that way comes.
We just don't learn lessons from our history but maybe that is the human condition.

I am a Turkish Cypriot who happened to be born in the UK my dad did three years in the British army as an auxiliary sergeant he came to London in the mid fifties .
I was born early seventies and my feeling is this, Great Britain is the greatest country in the world for me if you are not a secular country you are not worth shit .
As for Christians they are brilliant and through several decades have adapted to Secularity brilliantly why would I dislike them ? fucking let my dad into their country didn't they.
I dislike hypocrisy and some of the things GB has gone into have been strategic rather than necessary and like many lefties I think that is wrong young men dying in foreign fields when GB is not under any attack is wrong along with thousands of Muslims dying too when they are supposed to be helped and then the country's are split up and money is made by the invading country's, that is what I do not like.
